  1. To help control the transmission of COVID-19, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) and the Department of Health (DOH) should conduct intensified RT-PCR testing in areas with high case rates and ensure efficient contact tracing and implementation of quarantine protocols.
  2. To ensure fast internet, especially during the coming school year, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) must ensure that network providers will improve their services and provide these at an affordable price.
  3. To enable the recovery of micro, small, and medium enterprises from the impact of COVID-19, the Department of Finance (DOF), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and other Government Financial Institutions (GFIs) should provide easy access to credit with low-interest rates, together with other fintech lending products as soon as possible.
  4. To help in the country’s economic recovery, the government must be encouraged to provide additional infrastructure to connect the islands and provinces, advance transportation facilities, and more logistic facilities as soon as possible.
  5. To ensure the continued production of necessary supplies and basic needs, the government should provide financial assistance through loans without interest to the Manufacturing industry not later than October of this year.
  6. To help businesses recover from the economic downturn, the Local Government Units (LGUs) should extend the validity of Business Permits issued in 2020 to the whole year of 2021.
  7. To encourage more foreign investors and manufacturers to look at a more competitive cost for putting up a business, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Finance (DOF) must reshape the country’s business landscape and make it more attractive to the global market by 2021-2022.
  8. For the tourism sector to survive, the Department of Tourism (DOT) should coordinate with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) and discuss how to gradually open businesses engaged in tourism amidst the COVID-19 pandemic as soon as possible.
  9. To help small local contractors access possible joint venture projects with foreign contractors, the construction industry should roll out a business matching program to help facilitate domestic and international partnerships within the year.
  10. To ensure sufficient food supply, the government and private sector must join hands to provide a unified and coordinated system for the production and distribution of food across the country, including promoting backyard farming.
